Begin with a suitable chart
Choose general business during onboarding when a specialist industry template does not fit. Review the starter accounts and add only the accounts your policies require.
Use the core workflows
Record invoices, quotations, receipts, expenses, supplier bills, payments, journals and opening balances. Customer and supplier statements help explain what remains due.
Add dimensions that answer real questions
Use business units for physical locations and reporting tags for departments, services or other virtual views. Keep the company-wide totals available alongside those dimensions.
Enable specialist tools when appropriate
Projects, fixed assets, tax, withholding and inventory access depend on company entitlements and settings. Agree the right scope with your accountant before relying on a workflow for statutory reporting.
